Been at coon creek since Thursday
Fishing here and there. Been lazy campground is peaceful. See a few boats through trees at campsite

problems getting out of house. 9 year old boat trailer lugs bolts began to act up when I was testing to see if they would come off a few just spun a handy neighbor helped with that. Next day newer truck from this year would not start even with plug in starter same neighbor got me through that. Deadest battery I’ve ever seen

saturday got few keepers on white Bobby garland Shad’s in cubes. A few more on Sunday in the cold

Monday got out later in day. Got about 30 shorts an 11” yellow bass and a 14” largemouth but had skinny body with big head. Was using crappie magnet red body yellow tail in cubes and trees

today late start using hair jig silver blue got a short first cast with new road and 11” but was slower. Saw a few people trolling cranks. Will give that a try in last two full days left

new rod is epic 8 huckabee a new favorite. This is light and feels stronger then other 8 footers. I have. A few older huckabee rods I have are also good

this eight foot is very versitile can use for jogging walleye at other places
put a daiwa regal 1000 with 20lb sufix braid and flouro leader

Issues are bound to happen. Otherwise it sounds like a great week.
