    Default Stephen Forbes Lake 10-23-21

We spent the afternoon at Forbes today. Even in the misty cool day it was nice afternoon on the water. We tried all sorts of jigs and beetle spin combo with out much luck. I caught one small crappie on a jig with a spinner. As I was unhooking it my baitcast combo got ok knocked overboard. Then while we were trying to snag the sunken rod with any heavy baits we had I managed to catch another small crappie on a brass colored spoon. Catching a crappie on a spoon was quite the surprise. Unfortunately we were unable to locate my sunken rod.Name: PXL_20211023_213322645.MP.jpg

Sometimes the fish gods demand there pound of flesh. I have broken may share and lost a few as well. Fish long enough you will pull a few back to the surface
