    I would like some info for the area, is it a decent place to fish, where to launch, navigational hazards, good restaurant.

    Any special regs for the lake itself or Illinois in general?

    Good heavy fish. Two pay ramps at north end - Macs and Pyramid marinas. Shallow navigation hazards marked mid lake. Get free map with regulations when you pay $10 parking fee. Restricted areas west side. Patrol boat will give warning. 30 fish limit. Big bass tournaments every weekend congested. May need minners at times. Lots videos YouTube.
