Looks like it is a gradual decrease, I just replaced mine for $154
Trailer plates have always been based on weight ratings. My boat trailer is rated for 3,000 pounds and used to be $18. They bumped it up to $118, and this year dropped it down to $36. I guess that's one way to double the trailer fees and make you happy about it. Sarcasm!
My 5th wheel is rated at 7,000 pounds and costs me $30. That never changed.
