    Default Kinkaid Report

Anyone been out to Kinkaid lately? I tried last week but could only find 7-8.5" fish, seems like that's been the norm there for me this year other than a few days this spring.

We were supposed to fish Kinkaid with Kyle Scoenherr this past weekend. At his suggestion we went to Rend to fish. He said the fish have been small at Kinkaid for over a year. Still some big ones in there but most he said were small crappie. He had a gew theories on the cause.I believe Kinkaid is his home lake, so him suggesting another lake was surprising. Hope Kinkaid comes back.

hdhntr. We Had a good time with Kyle. He seems to be a nice humble guy. Rather than fish with us he stayed behind us and taught us and coached us on using the livescope so we would catch all the fish. Targeted the overs. He gave us some tips on fishing on our own, but we couldn't git er dun that weekend. Haha.

Kyle said you can still catch some big ones in there but the numbers of big keepers are down. Plenty of smalls which gives him hope for coming years.

    The summer of 2013 fishing with Kyle & Alan Corzine I caught a 17" white & a 16 1/2" black on Kincaid.

    Nice. What a memory.
