Thread: Lake Shelbyville

I'm headed over this weekend to take my brother-in-law and son crappie fishing. We're staying at Gregory's Resort and I'm looking for a good handicapped accessible ramp near there with some good crappie spots in close proximity. Also having some protection from the SSW winds would be preferable.. My brother-in-law is in a wheelchair we only move at a fast idle and have to exercise extra caution with that wind. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

lithia ramp is only a minute way. it has a dock and is protected from the wind by all the boat docks. plenty of good crappie fishing on the south side of the cove without ever going out on the main lake. the whole cove is no wake, but you have to watch for boats not obeying the rules. good luck...
