    Default Brush piles


    Went to local menards today and me and neighbor got maybe 70 unsold Christmas trees for brush piles on our home lake was thinking they would have been thrown out already
    just in case anyone needs some for their own project
    we have been doing cubes and some invention of my own a plastic trash can with 20 five foot lengths of irrigation tube which I call the crappie can

    I bet the Rend Lake Conservancy District would like to have some, they put Christmas trees out every year.

    Iowa DNR used this method for a few years. Us volunteers helped get trees and blocks drug over to places they marked. Built the piles and when ice melted the plies were close to where they wanted them, they are a lil snagy but made great habitat for a few years which help our population.
