    Question ? Kincaid lake ?

Might go there tomorrow. Is the Paul Ice ramp open? No electronics on the boat yet. Will be for bass and crappie.

Lots of people fishing, none catching. Parking lot was 3/4 full when I got there right after sunup, was full when I left at 1.
I went for bass, one lost, one short, one rock bass. Lots of weeds still in the lake. I tried top water first, no takers.
On the positive side, the boat still floats, and runs! FYI - it runs ALOT better since putting the fuel filter in the proper way!!!

Question ? Johnson Creek Ramp ?

I'm wanting to start going to Kincaid more often. What is the depth at the Johnson Creek Ramp? How far from this ramp to no-wake buoys? Does it depend on what your fishing for, as to what ramp you use?
So far, I've only used the ramp by the marina, and the Paul Ice ramp. Other ramps to use?

Skunked, in my experience, the Johnson Creek ramp is doable, but the channel away from the ramp to runable water is difficult to navigate. I'm sure those that use it all the time have no difficulty. It is a long run at idle speed out to the mouth of the creek, but there is good fishing all the way out. Do not believe there are any other ramps other than those 3. Water in the creek is typically more stained than the main lake, especially in the early part of the year. All species exist throughout the lake. I have even caught walleye back in Johnson Creek while bass fishing. It can be a frustrating lake, but it is beautiful, easy to get out of the wind and if you find them, -----! Hope this helps.
