Finally got my 94 yr old mother into assisted living, got the house cleaned out and on the market soon so hope to be able to get back out on the water. Anywhere close to Clinton have minnows or bring my own down also anybody have any luck on Clinton catching walleye they are listed on the DNR site but i have never caught one there but have never really fished for them there.

I have not been in several years but have caught a number of walleye and wipers. The walleye spots for me was the riprap near the spillway. Out in front of the spillway is a large underwater hump that gives up walleye and wipers. Another walleye area is the islands on the bend between the marina and the DeWitt ramps. Between the marina and the spillway is an area known as "the saddle". It is a rapid drop on both sides of the shallow hump (saddle). The wipers come up both sides and trap the shad in the shallower water. During feeding time the water just boils on the surface. Good luck.
