    Default Shelbyville bite?

Im due to my kids out for some crappie action. Is there a decent bobber bite going on now? Does it matter what end of the lake you fish? I was thinking structure adjacent to deep water.

Yes, bite has been good to really good. Been fishing slip cork minnows 8’-14’ deep in 10’-40’ of water. Catching has not been a problem, been keeping 30-40 and probably averaging 100-200 fish. Lots of different things working, go, have fun and stay safe - Lake is a zoo on weekends after 10-11.

Thanks for the update. We didn't make it last weekend. I had no idea how hard it is to find lodging if you are not a camper. Hope to try this weekend.

Fish are 12-15' deep in anywhere from 20-40 fow. They are in open water not really relating to structure chasing schools of shad. Mid lake is pretty popular right now. Good electronics will help. Some standing timber are holding fish as well. Good Luck!
