    Default Shelbyville 7/3

Took my brother and his two sons out today. Kept 38 fish. Had 54 shorts we threw back. Fished 20-30 FOW. Fish were scattered, mostly 12-15' deep. Name: 20200703_162234.jpg

Thank you for your report! People on here don't share info anymore. Want to talk about drunken gatherings instead.
this site has gone to hell as far as fishing goes.

Congrats on great day! That’s a good looking pile of crappie! I agree with you old goat. Haven’t been on here long, but seems like illinois sight gets views without many responses, unlike some other states with good conversations. I’m guilty of it also. Thanks for the good info Johnnywad & happy Independence Day everyone.

I saw a few others trolling cranks. Not sure if they were targeting walleye or crappies. They were fishing a little shallower than I was.

I was on Shelbyville last weekend and saw numerous boats Crappie fishing. We mostly stayed in Coon Creek cove. I was hoping to see some reports this week. Thanks for posting. Wishing I could have dropped a line, but had the grandkids and took them swimming instead. They are a tad too young yet. I was in a blue Sylvan with Crappie.com stickers on the sides. What boats where you in?

I believe I saw you, we fished that same piece of the lake. We were fishing out of a Black 18' Lund with a kicker motor. We had a bunch of rods hanging off the front and back.

It was either you or a red boat, maybe both, that had guys front and back trolling. It was pretty cool to watch. How did you do?
