    Default IDNR lake openings

Anyone want to guess when they open things back up? I'm guessing May 15

    My 2 cents.

The kids are done for the school year.

Lightfoot needs help to keep everyone( think kids) out of the parks and off the lakefront and out of the harbors.

    Pritzker is waiting to announce.

No politician waits to announce GOOD news.

My guess is the day after Memorial Day, May 26th.

I really really hope my guess is entirely wrong.

Governor just said there will be "phased in" openings of state parks. Only 2 people per boat!! This should help the fishermen and detour the party boats

Just saw similar info on another site with different lakes/areas listed. Washington County was listed and not Randolph County. What do we believe? Shabbona listed on the other site.

Those Sangchris slabs will be jumping in the boat , might be bumper boats on May 1.
And I imagine several that would have been caught in the last month will spawn and produce many years of offspring for us all.

I wonder what scientific guidance was used to limit to two per boat?
