    Default State facilities and parks

Think they get shut down this spring with the current events?

Would not put it past Pritzker to restrict personnel to save a few bucks.

Well we have all seen boat ramps that at least looked to have too many folks.

While there maybe a couple hundred at the ramp or on the lake, they are more than 6' apart and not in confined spaces.

    Not the problem.

    No personnel, no facilities.

    With all due respect.

The answer is what I believe is the truth.

The legislation, law or policy is what governs the decision.

The current action, I believe, is under the guise for the protection of the personnel.

Without the onsite personnel, the facilities/parks close.

For what it's worth, I agree with your thinking, but logic and common sense is not what governs here.

Can you remember another time when Illinois parks and facilities had closures and/or restricted hours?

If so, do you remember why?

    Think money.

Different reason back then but same result, no personnel.

I just call the balls and strikes as I see them, I didn't make the rules of the game.

We are on the same side.

I don't understand the lack of personnel. I cannot think of the last time I saw a state employee at a boat ramp. I've seen them mowing or doing other work, all more than 6 feet away.

    Default Power

It is a power trip for those in charge. Study history, people in power use any excuse to abuse that power if only temporarily. Those personnel probably will get paid by us the taxpayer one way or another. This is just total B.S.
