    Default Small boat waters

If someone who only goes to the local lakes half a dozen times a year wants to catch crappie, where would you send them. Factors are small boat with 10 hp. Must be within an hour and half drive from Bloomington Normal.

I fished evergreen for first time this year and caught tons a lot of small ones but a bunch and that was jigging in June. Clinton would be okay some days for your boat. I have a lind with 115 and 9.9 kicker. The spots on Clinton in winter are within three miles of ramp. I’m up by JOLIET but would travel to those places. Also rend would not be bad most of time for your boat. There is many ramps to get you close to fish and out of wind. Same with shelbyville. Instead of driving around burning boat gas you will focus on fishing
