It happens in all of the lakes. Sometimes it is hard to get stopped.

The limit on Rend is 25 total is what I mean. 10 over 10 inches and 15 under 10 inches or all 25 under 10 inches. It's a stupid limit and needs to be changed to a straight limit but when guys are taking MULTIPLE limits a day out that's not good. I personally think the limit needs to be 25 of any size if they want to set it that way. I remember as a kid there was no limit on Rend but there also was not any where near as many crappie fisherman as there is now. Our biologist believes there are too many fish in the lake and they need to be taken out. B/S, if that was the case then there would be no limit like there used to be.

I’d like to see a straight limit any size eliminate a bunch of measuring you know a 1/4 inch here or there

Not 100% sure but I have heard that Ill. is a state where you can catch your limit in one lake and go to another lake to catch a limit there????

Yes in Illinois there is no possession limit. You can fish different lakes in the same day. Although there are laws about not taking fish from one lake to another and by law you are supposed to drain your live well on the ramp where you are before you leave. stupid law and does not get enforced due to the fact of the tournaments. I would not recommend having fish in your live well from a different lake, better off to take them home or clean them first.

Rumor has it. There was a recent bust by the CPO for a person or person having 175 over the limit on Rend. Supposidely out of state. and they lost their boat. Any truth to this? If so I think it is GREAT!

There was a recent incident but they were not from out of state, well kinda, some yankees from up by Chicago. They were over the limit by a lot of fish. There was also a KY guy who got a citation for being over the limit by 7 fish as well. Don't believe any property was seized.
