    Default Rend Lake

With the temperature change has the fall bite picked up? Are the fish hanging around structure?

Heading Down later this week. Minnows or Jigs, or does it matter? Do they seem to be in deeper water over structure or in shallow water? Thanks for the info, only have a couple of days to fish.

Jigs are working better. Been fishing mostly drop offs in 8' to 14'

    Default Rend Lake

I was over at Rend last weekend and the bit is on for sure. Having a hard time catching the unders. Sure is hard throwing back fish over 10". We got our three man limit of overs both Saturday and Sunday. Best fish was 13". Most of them are 10" to 11" in size.

Our 3-man group fished Oct. 13-16 and had very productive days on 4 species - cats, yellow bass, stripers, and crappie. On the 16th the cold weather showed up but fish were still biting. Not sure if that has continued. We mostly used minnows near the bottom in 12-15'. And casted small crankbaits toward shore. GLuck to y'all.

Bumper boats at the bridge last weekend. Bite is still on. Lots of unders. Biggest fish came out of 2 fow up north. One 14" and multiple 12" to 13". Good Luck to all.

I'm headed that way tomorrow for a couple days of crappie fishing. Any new reports ? I figure you better get out early if you want a spot under the bridges.

We'll be on the lake Monday afternoon with Mean Green. I hope we do good.
