    Angry Rules of the Road

Just got back from Shelbyville. For those that don't know, maybe have forgot or just don't give a ****.....you drive a boat like a vehicle, On the RIGHT side of the lake! And just like a vehicle you pass on the left, Not between the boat and the bank. Just because your next spot is on the left side of the lake you don't head-on into oncoming traffic! I saw alot of fishing boats acting like pleasure boats today. Name: boatrules.png

You’ll have that the day before a bass tournament!
a few more weeks and we will have the lake to ourselves.

We have a 60 horse limit, and no water patrol on my lake, but the stupidity of some people, never fails to amaze me !

Lake has been full of gewbers all year. Never ceases to amaze me the boat etiquette of fisherman and pleasure boaters alike. Seems like it gets worse every year, especially with the continued development of better electronics. Like another person said, cooler weather is coming and that means happy slabs and less goons!

On foggy day you are surely taking your life in your own hands . Fools running yesterdays or last months track at 50 mph . and no visibility.

If the channel is not on the right side, but water is shallow on the right do you still run your boat on the "right" side?

If that’s the case I run on the right side of the channel. This is assuming we have GPS and maps or that the main channel is marked with bouys.
