    I'll be arriving Friday mid afternoon. I'll bring about 10 pounds of venison for burgers on Friday night. I'll also bring buns and cheese. Hopefully I'll catch some fish Saturday for dinner. Oh, plus Dan-the-man is coming and we will have Dutch oven cobbler Saturday night.

    Illinois Crappie.com spring camp. Dan-the-man and I ventured out today for some spider rigging. Socialized with at least 4 members from Crappie.com on our way out. You'll have to ask them about their day. But for Dan-the-man and I, it was tough...... to catch anything over 9". We caught over 30 Crappie under 9". Released them for another day. We did manage half a dozen keepers in the 12-13" range, and a hand full under 10" but over 9". When the Gail force winds rolled in we called it a day.
