Not sure if Kentucky Lake should still be in the top 10 with their Asian carp issues and down cycle. It’s kindof like a perrenial top ten college football team that gets a high rating based upon past performance years ago and not what’s going on in the present.

The article is 4 years old... I’m sure several different lakes would make the list now! Mr. Josh Gowan, the author of the article, has his own website and magazine out now called “Destination Crappie.” Its a very informative place for anything crappie fishing you could think of... go check it out!
