Congrats on a great showing.
Me and my tournament partner managed to take 5th at the Classic on Lake Cumberland. The water was on the rise 10 ft prior to pre fishing. We knew they would start dropping levels soon and sure enough it slowly went down close to 1ft a day. We didn't catch a fish until late Tuesday. We targeted timber off of points. Trees had to have at least 20ft of water on em to be productive. We left those fish alone for 2 days to make sure we didn't score lip em all. Went back first day of tournament and they were still there. Brought in 6.17 on day one sitting in 3rd place. We were 1lb out of 1st heading into day 2. We fished same area bouncing back and forth to different points. Man those fish were deep in the cover almost belly to the bottom. We fish a slip float and minnow on litewire hooks and some litewire jigs made by litewire hooks Curtis Hobbs on the Georgia forum. Day 2 we caught fish just not the quality we had on day 1. Our biggest went 1.33. Big fish for the tourney was a 2.21 black. We weighed in 5.77 on day 2 which put us in 5th overall. Tough tourney and hung out with a bunch of great people.

Great showing. A game changer to order hooks and jigs you had never used and have confidence in them to use during big tournament like Crappie USA.
