    Default Shelbyville or Sangchris ?

Gonna meet dad and brother at one of these two the end of September.
    Which one and why?
Will be fishing for bass/crappie, both rods and gear will be in the boat.
25hp on boat, good for either lake.
Have never fished Sangchris, been 20 years since fished Shelbyville.
    Drinkin coffee, missin fish.

We went to Shelbyville on Wednesday and pulled crank baits. Fished for 8 hours on main lake points and past many brush piles. We caught probably over 30 short fish, didn't keep track. We caught one 15in Bass and a 14in. walleye. We had 8 crappie over 10 and 4 under. Water temp was in the mid 80s. Hope this helps.

End of September can be a tricky time in our area. Generally you’re dealing with transitioning fish from summer to fall haunts/habits. I find this time frame to be the toughest to consistently catch bigger crappie (Shelbyville). However, that being said, you should really be able to start to get the whites on windblown gravel banks, flats, or points as well as any rip rap especially with wind. It has been a fantastic year at the ville for whites. Just my 2 cents. Have fun either way!
