We had some break-ins in my neighborhood last year. They only broke into trucks and SUV's. Cops said they were looking for guns, and truck/SUV owners are more likely to have guns stashed in the vehicle.

I have never kept much in my truck (including guns), but I totally cleaned it out after that incident. I also leave open the glove compartment and the center console so thieves can see they're wasting their time.

when I see someone like that I hold up my phone snap a pic of them and their vehicle and then pretend I am talking to someone on phone, tho I am not. it clears out the suspicious ones mach snell! Do this on my street or whereever I am and it works. also do it to Big trucks acting stupid on interstate and that stops their BS.

I went back yesterday to look for the sob's . Checked all ramps but no luck. Maybe they moved on to Rend or elsewhere. Also reported theft and vehicle description to Crab management . That car oughta be easy to spot.

Holy crap! I put in at that ramp at least 2 or 3 days a week. I will definitely be keeping an eye out. Lots and lots of trucks their this morning....Hope they catch the low lives!!! Ill have my phone ready..Is the sheriff the fastest to get a hold of, or conservation? I do carry, but not going to use it unless I have to..

Well at that time of morning I figured there would be a few cops working route 13 close. Unless ya have a direct mobile phone number to local CPO ... that fish n wildlife hotline number is BS. I think maybe the deputy went to the wrong ramp, bet he went to the old marina dunno. A guy at the ramp before me said he didn't like the looks of em neither and made sure they seen him carry his pistol to boat. No fear strung out on the dope.

I tried to post a screen shot a list of all the CPO's cell #'s but it was too small. You can find the list by a Google search. They are listed by county. They were probably a couple of meth heads.

I talked to a guy yesterday who said his buddy had his truck and trailer stolen from Greenbrier ramp a while back , they busted out the rear window and punched the ignition. Needs to stop one way or another.

I do the same thing, but I don't hide it. I've had enough now a days so I'll just walk right up to them, speak with them to feel them out, take pic of them( if bad vibes)and then take pic of the car with licence plate. I want them to know they are being watched and by whoRobbed at the ramp today - Crab O. Can always delete them, but if they hit someone else or bad things happen, cops have description and licence as starting point. You can tell who the losers are often just by looking, watching them. Getting bad allover out there and I've been hit at Costco, fishing ,etc--- all in broad daylight.
