If you have the Quick detach base is there a way to lock the trolling motor to the base so it can't be stolen very easily.

You can put a small lock through the pin. It could be easily smashed or cut off. It's made to take off the motor and lock up somewhere secure.

Pulled the trigger on one saturday. Called BBG and dealt with Brian who was really great. Should be here tomorrow. Told the wife she has a Valentine gift she's gonna have to sign for. Figured it may be in the front yard on fire when I get home from work, lol.
