I have not found any either. usually I have found two or three nice for a good mess. I am going out today during my lunch hour and looking. They are very tasty.

My brother in law was suppose to go to my honey hole to pick mine for me and he didn't find any yet. I got another friend who goes out and find all sorts of fall mushrooms and she hasn't found any either

Unfortunately our Hen of The Woods supplier has not been successful as of yet. Looks like the October Friday night fish fry will be without for the first time in a long time. Hopefully they will be ready soon.

If we lived a little closer I would gladly give you some that I have from last year. I always hord some for times like this.

I appreciate the thought bowhunter, but now I'm wondering will the mushrooms just not pop up now since its a week from November. Or will they grow this late, I have found one pretty late in the year one time but I think the frost possibly ruined it. Because it did not look edible.

Doubt if they are going to pop up with all the cold weather coming
