Had a great 3 days fishing the Ville. Fish are all over the lake and very Hungry!!! Day 1 we pulled cranks through the Junkyard, Partycove and the back of Coon Creek and had a heck of a nice day. Day2 I let my 11year old pick the strategy and he chose Dock Shooting Jigs and to my surprise the fish were even stacked under almost every Dock we could find. Day 3 we challenged the Water Lice head on and spider rigged in the middle of the lake,, we had boats going past us on both sides and the boat was rocking and the Crappies were slamming everything ya put on a jig,, I think that he extra boat traffic is good on this lake cause it seems to put the fish into a feeding frenzy!!! Sorry I was a Couple Days late on my Report but I've been really Busy since I got home! See Ya All in The Fall!!

We sure miss the lake and all you guys up there. I'm done with my Master's degree in April. Perhaps there will be a hospital CIO position for me somewhere in central to southern IL...

Nice catch there Toad.. Maybe we will meet again soon in the junkyard. When two boats run the junkyard side by side but staggered 100 yards back and both hookup to each others ilink technology ( thanks for the updated chip ) with 8 rods apiece and three anglers in each boat we can cover more ground than a 24 row JD new gps combine I seen at the last farm progress show. We sure did combine the crappie that day. Party cove was a little slow yesterday but we still had good numbers but size was down a bit. The back of Coon creek if you stay in the creek channel that you mapped on the chip you had was spot on. Even when came up on one of your pin you drop in your track were you caught fish was perfect time to watch your poles for doubles and sometimes triples. Thanks again for all your tips.. maybe we will have more interest next year so you can pass on your expertise in mapping and rigging setup for your boat.

It's always good to share information with everyone.. The Lake is really producing some nice fish and I can't wait to get back on it again. People that are still struggling boating fish need to book ya for a fun day on the water!! Tight lines bud. We will see ya soon!!
