Miller lake 5-11-17
Tonight while my mom, wife, and daughter were at the ladies dinner at church. Dad, my son and me went fishing at Miller lake.
Henry and me fished for crappie with minnows and jigs while dad fly fished for bluegill and threw a big spinner for bass.
Best catch of the night was a 13" white crappie. Kept a few other 8-9" crappie to fillet with the big one. We all three had a good time on the water.

Is Miller Lake a private access or Public? In looking at Google Earth, I did not see a access rap. Any advise?
Also noted access point of Lake Jaycee. Again, public access or private?

For Miller lake you have to be a member of the Mt Vernon Gun and Sportsman Club, the ramp is at the club house. https://www.mvsportsmansclub.com/
Jaycee Lake is controlled by the city of Mt. Vernon, you have to buy a sticker from the city to use the lake. http://www.mtvernon.com/wp-content/u...pplication.pdf
