Low 50's on north end. Water stained to dirty in places but fishable. Crappie are on the move and biting. Check out the fishing report on my website for more info. Lithia Fishing Guide - Lake Shelbyville, IL - Home

Haven't caught any males with any color yet. The males on Shelbyville are still getting the sand out of there eyes from the flood. The crappie we have been catching are starting to move closer to spawning areas and feeding up before they start to move in. Cold front coming so it will slow down for awhile.. enjoy.

Well I did take a spanking on the Big Sandy but I made up for it at the blue landing above Fishtale Lodge. Had fresh fish fryed from the day before thanks to two of my buddies,Mike and Steve. Took a nap and went back to enjoy the night's entertainment and shake leg to the sounds of Johnny Mac. If your ever down there take your catch up the hill and they will fry it up and serve it with Frys and slaw. And be sure and find out if Johnny Mac is in the area he is a local that plays Nashville and he is good. See ya on lake xx I had to leave cause the pro was rolling in. Lol

Glad you got to eat some of Ky finest. Johnny Mac is some good entertainment. We've seen a lot of one man bands in there that are good. They do a great job on the cooking of your catch and its not that far at of line in cost with the Fry's and slaw. There is another place to eat next to Fishtales that is good to. Get there early on weekends for a good seat.

I left work at 2pm to take the boat and knock the cobwebs off. Fished for a couple of hours mid-lake. Water temps in the cove I was in was 55 degrees. Fished some laydowns in 6-8 foot of water, caught about a dozen. All were over 9" with the biggest 12". Used a 1/32 lead head with a blue/chartreuse Slab Slayer, FWIW.
