    People need to realize the real dangers of falling in water that is cold. Everyone should also take precautions. It does not always happen to the other guy!

    This was indeed a sad story. I am very bad about not wearing PFD. I have 2 or 3 different types and could not get one that was comfortable. i am a large guy so it was a struggle to put them on and off. This was a wake up call for me. I bit the bullet and bought a Mustang Survival Coat. I wore it Saturday for about 4 hours ice fishing and really liked it.
