    Default Spider rigging

Anyone in Illinois spider rig? If so, any tips? I've done some research, just never saw anything bout it on Illinois thread. Didn't know if its a "sign", and I shouldn't try it. We are allowed three poles.

    Thanks, Gary

There is a time and place for rigging. After the spawn and during summer months in Illinois, I think spider rigging is the ticket.

The best tip and biggest mistake is GO SLOW! If you think you are going slow, slow down some more! It is alot of fun when you get into a school:-)

How is that crank bait pulling it seem to be hard to get the speed wright and depth wright. When do you do it in the summer and what was the first thing you would do so a new comer dont make the same mistake.

I start right after the Spawn, And you cant really make no mistakes. Just get enough line seperation. 3 to 4 ft.

Lots of riggers here, just not a lot of talk about it. Pre spawn and post spawn into summer are the hottest times. Depends on lake, and how tight to wood they are and how lazy they they want to be.
