I remember that spot!
The bite on Kinkaid is slowly picking up over the last couple weeks. Usually when we get a good amount of fresh water in a lake it affects the deep bite and we've had plenty of fresh water lately. Fish are just starting to get on creek channel ledges in good numbers and size but they are spotty. Be sure to stay on the move. Best bite has been between 40 and 45 feet lately. Had a trip today and these two guys were lucky enough to land a 2.30 and 2.90 lb black. Both were released for another day! Again, for those following my site, sorry for the lack of updates but i'm unable to update anything at this time. It's a long story but it will be at least a month before my new site is up and going so until then the reports and photo pages are stuck along with my business email. Anybody that has tried to email me and I haven't responded that is why. I have a few opening each week over the next month and a good month it will be on Kinkaid! Give me a call 618 - 314 - 2967

Nice fish Kyle. Great to see things picking up. Did you have enough line on that West Point to reach the bottom? LOL! Keep up the good work and keep posting pics as much as possible. I was wondering about the web site......sounds like a mess. I fished Kentucky Lake today and had some nice ones also. Man....what weather we are having for December. I didn't even have to wear my cold weather gear today! Fish are really stacking up down there and we are having some fun. Thanks for the post Kyle!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
Nice job Kyle

Kyle, Is Kinkaid a clear lake or are crappie that deep in every lake with that much depth?
Buddy, Kinkaid is normally a clear lake but with the rain we've had it has a stain to it now. When you've got deep water like Kinkaid has, there will always be some deep fish. You do have to pay attention to water clarity though because at times, a stain in the water will keep them up a little higher in the water column. You just have to keep checking different depths until you find which they prefer.
