    Default open water at Shelbyville?

I was thinking of using the boat this Wed. at Shelbyville. Is all the ice off the lake? What are the boat ramps like? I generally fish the south end.

Sure hope not I plan on making it down there this weekend. I ice fished eagle creek 2 weeks ago and it was a little "iffy" then, but still about 6 inches of ice with a inch of water! My guess is the lake more then likely all open especially the south end. If any one knows for fact let us know!

The lake is wide open no ice whatsoever. I saw it myself.

    Default Thanks for the info

Thanks all for the response! I'll plan to put in at Eagle creek if it's open. Looks like the lake is almost at summer pool, but dropping.

Lake is wide open like stated. But, its RISING not falling. Last nights rain was no good for it. There might have been a few fish being caught too...

Old Richard and I even braved the wind and cold today for a little bank fishing. Had 6 overs and about 40 little short fish, but we got some exercise and as my mom used to say " got the stink blown off of us".
