Not a thing wrong with him but age. I saw a study in a magazine once on a captive deer. They got him as a fawn. At a 1.5y/o he was a spike. By age 3.5 he was over 130. I think he topped out in the 180s or 190s BC over the course of 10 or 11 years
i agree totally people i know say once a spike always a spike i believe thats bull s,,, the deer in the pic that i posted only had one antler two years ago people told me there was something wrong with him i dont see anything wrong with him now do u

seers antler growth are partly due to genetics and alot of it has to do with feed... if there is a very lean food year you wont see antler size as you would on a year where there is plenty to it
Im gonna buy a trail cam this summer, could you guys recommend a good one.
I have a moultrie, hundred dollar one and a four hundred dollar cuddeback noflash. Both take good pics but the cuddeback seems to be a little quicker on the draw. The moultrie has a decent trigger speed once it comes out of sleep mode.. Those are the only two types I have, but hear good things about the stealth cam also, just no exp with them.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Those are some nice deer!! Keep 'em coming.
