Default Welcome to the hunting section

I figured since its off season for most hunting it would be a good idea to start a hunting section for you guys, since alot of you do hunt. I know this is time of year i gather info and set trips and everything and figured it would be easier to have a hunting section here at crappie.com then to have to go look elsewhere or also to give you another option to look for hunting... ill he your moderator on this board so any ideas or suggestions you have to make this part of forum better, feel free to shoot me a pm...

    thanks

We had over 3000 head of Elk within 5 miles from my house. I live in Idaho those of you that are planning a Elk hunt should try Idaho. My rancher friend right now has 800 head on his property. Units 39, 43 and 45 are good huntig units. My wife is 64 and killed her first Elk last year. My friend told me that there were 25 Bull Elk taken off his ranch last year.

Cool! I don't do much hunting but duck hunting but would love to read the reports of other hunters until the fall!

    Thanks for the forum!

Do you think it would be a good idea to do some "trading" of hunts here? For instance, I have access to some awesome wild hog hunting down in my parts. I would be willing to trade for a good deer bowhunt in Kansas? Anyone think this would work?
