Default Gave it a Try ....

Tried out our new family blind for the first time Saturday
Wife said she wanted to go with me on the FIRST sit
saw lots of deer and ONE BIG pig ....
KABOOM went the big pig .
we put nice chairs in it the next day
she carried a chair and we had one in it that was beat down that visit
sure was a great sit , not sure if it gets any better than that hunt ....
she and I couldn't manage that pig , it was just too big to even get in the truck
when we finally got it to camp , it was too big for us to hoist up ....
I am 225 and I think he had me by about 25 more .....
it was a splendid no smell boar , but we finally had to say uncle and drag it off for the buzzards
makes me kind of sad to waste so much meat , but trust me on this , at 10 pm and working hard on trying to box it up ,we said I quit ....
i swear it didn't look very big when I shot it and not from a distance either ....
sure did look large when we got up on it in the dark though
my wife was in the wow thats a really big pig and I was like yeah ,,,,gunna be tough to get to camp ,,,,it came off the drag rope twice on the trip back ....
    long evening for sure .....
no worries there is about 100 more in there if we want to try it again ....
    tree trimming next week .....
the grandson is going to love this set up ....for sure

Nice luxury hunting shack. Glad it's working out for you and producing bacon.

They multiply so fast we try and kill all we see and keep the 135 to 150 lb ones for cooking. Tender and succulent.

    Bon Temps!!

Ive cleaned 'em from @ 40 lbs up to 130 lbs and they were some fine eating. Maybe they will come back out when the grandson is with you.
