    we are sure loaded heavy with hogs this year , the deer are in numbers as well and we even got a nice group of turkey ....
    but BOY HOWDY are them hogs are in numbers and colors and different sizes ....
    not sure why when we sit out to collect one, they are always the BIG versions ...
    KABOOM is always near though , just saying

    When you decide to harvest, what is the best eating, medium gilt size? Do you sit back in the blind and eye the herd over and try and shoot a nice tender Vittle?

    we like young sow pigs , not the tiny ones , the ones about 75 lbs to 100 , preferably without lil ones
    but the young boars about 50 to 75 are good as well . big stinky pigs not so much ....
    smaller than 50 are snack pigs .....just saying
    we never sit back on them , first ones out get shot at , AND COLOR DOES NOT MATTER either ....
