Ketch, you and I hunt different methods, states, terrain, etc. I've hunted lots of different methods with lots of different blinds and equipment. Not trying to start trouble, just stating my personal opinion. It sure seems like a shame that that buck will likely be killed by someone hiding inside a box next to a feeder. I sure won't begrudge your success if it is you bro.

Might be so bro , I hunt easy , he is slick , but feeding him for 4 or 5 years and harvesting him is not a bunch different than a farmer bob killing a cow …. Cept he is WAY slicker than any bovine out in the pasture…..
Hunt hard if ya want and whack what ya can , not me these days , the easy ride is me my friend, no buck today , no problem, it was a nice easy hunt , fire up the wood and get me a beer , it’s time eat ….
Up and down a few island mountains on Kodiak to kill a deer , will cure ya of let’s hunt hard my friend

I published a story about hunting elk with traditional gear years ago above 11,000' on foot, no guide. I know/remember how to hunt hard I could certainly kill deer easy, at 70 I need a bit of a challenge though

I have a long list of challenging scenarios my friend , ketchn me a deer for the freezer isn't on my list .
wandering around on foot in west Texas trying to ketch a deer is not on my list , I used to like the hunt hard and sit in the brushy stuff and stalk them and hike forever and ever and ever and drag them for miles back to civilization ....
but I was lot's younger and near as smart .....
and the funny thing is this , fresh shot and cleaned up quickly and into the ice chest ,tastes WAY better than the drug thru the dirt and grass ones in this here typical Texas climate , this is a fact ....
