    Default .410 jake

Shot a Jake this morning. Only one day left for my season. Had lots of obstacles to hunting this year. 20 yards, 12 hits in neck, another12 lower. #9 tungsten shot. The shot I retrieved was pristine.

Very nice, especially with the little gun. I’m down-to a 28 and know about using less than usual.

I hunted with a .410 years ago and used lead shot #6. This tungsten shot #9 with a turkey choke is probably deadly out to 40, but I like the 25 and in. Was a fun hunt with my brother. Bird will go into the smoker within the next 2 wees. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Loves his 12 gauge 3 inch mags running an extra extra full choke is me , you would have to see it in action to understand how deadly a shotgun can be at way out there ….
Of course it hurts the shooter as much as the shootee when it K A B O O M S , but boy howdy they know for sure they been shot …
Bounced a few wads off gobbler heads at a distance a few times
