I hear ya. My Benelli Nova throws those 12qauge 3.5" turkey loads really well. But, my eyes have gotten to where I can't see the bead well enough. This Steven's. 410 has a truglo diamond reticle scope and is clear for these old eyes.

Nice! I bought a Steven's 301 last year. For a .410 with tungsten #9 it patterns well out to 35 yards. I haven't hunted with it yet. Still clinging to the 12 gauge 3.5" with same tungsten #9. Its flat out deadly to 60 yards. But more comfortable within 50 just to remain ethical. Lot of folks knock the price of tungsten shot. I don't see it as economically viable for duck hunting but for Turkey it's well worth the price to me!

Wish we could kill Jake's in MS, sure make for some fine eating.

Any bearded bird is legal here. Shot a bearded hen a few years ago. I'm sold on the tungsten performance. I use lead shot to get my scope close then dial in with the tungsten. Saved some money. 12gauge with #9 tungsten would be an awesome combo.
