Thread: MAN what a blast

had us a family hog hunt saturday at our place , man did we have a blast , shot 2 lost one and the story is just amazing , wish my wife could take good video , we stumbled upon a herd looking for the one we lost , good times for sure , close range KABOOM with kid and wife in tow .....
dont git much better I tell ya .....
dropped hog one in its tracks 15 minutes into the hunt , at 16 minutes hog one spun around on the ground and crawled off ! Bought shot it a second time , but thought it aint going far hurt that bad ....my bad
waited 30 minutes or so to let it bleed out and it never did , we could hear it ahead of us in the thick stuff ,but couldn't close the gap , before it got too dark to chase wounded hogs in thick brush ....on the way out came up on a herd and then ....another ....
KABOOM , lets settle for a small eater size piggy ....
terribly good fun for sure .....
p.s. traded ballcaps with the wife before we hit the stand , crappie.com gear at work yet again ....

as long as they aint boy pigs during their rut stage , when them boars get that swollen up look in their back door area and it looks like they got 2 cantaloupes stuck to their behind , they aint really tasty .....even under 150 ish ....just saying
