cameras show lots of decent bucks and even a grande piggy in the daylight , now just go out and sit there a few hours and tell me how many you see is my suggestion...
Only thing we see regular are does and yearlings , the nice bucks eluded all season long
next weekend is the last for spikes and does and even the spikes are on the cameras when we are NOT there ....

Drive right by them doing field work, as long as your moving you can get with in 100-200 yards.... As soon as you stop there heads are up, even the ones 400+ yards away will watch, you stop to long they scatter.
Only one way to trick-em Ketch...Intead of stopping to get out at the stand, your going to have to have the wife drive well you bail out of the truck...tuck and roll.....about 30 mph should be fast enough to not raise any Whitetail suspicions. Then just scoot, run,or limp to the stand...and BOOM! You'll get that big one!

P.S loose objects, ammo, cell phone, glasses, ect need to be secured during the truck exit.

Maybe next year , seems they made it tough on me this year , but one has to remember this about that , I quit hunting hard when we bought this place, I sit out when it isn’t terribly hot or cold and once in the rain this year that wasn’t much fun.
My days of going extreme on em are done , not that mad at em and aren’t terribly hungry right now , we have discussed taking a doe , but no one is really on board with it . Still have a chance for a spike till next Sunday, might take one if it really asks for it ...said might

Sure enough about the same size as that 55 gallon barrel, think it’s just one of those ole loner boar hogs , don’t see it often and never in the herd ....

The twin 9 points sure had me fooled all year long , thought it was the same buck and kept also thinking he looks a bit different from different angles ....
One time he has a slightly wider rack with a smaller 9th point and the next show he has a more definitive 9 th point and a tighter rack ....ding dong is me ...
