    Default Freezer is full


    I was fortunate to get a fat, dry cow elk this Fall. Real good meat and lots of it. Steaks, roasts and 65lbs of burger.

    Congrats. Elk meat is awesome. Years ago I shot a 6×7 that dressed 726#. It was 6.5 years old and the meat was well marbled and tender.

    likely the best of the vension crew is my thoughts , but there are some close seconds
