sometimes the memories are better than the real thing it seems , suffering thru a tough adventure and then capturing it in an image and looking back at it in the warmth and comfort of home is often good medicine :highfive

Certainly a great way to spend an evening
like : remember the time , like the one where your buddy fell out of the tree stand when the coons in the box blind attacked him in the dark
no cell phone and he crawled back to the truck with a broke spine and hip and wrist
then drove all the way home 1.5 hours and had to finally hit the emergency room due the pain involved
then the body cast he had to wear to go sit in the stand the next time .....:yikes
not the warmest of memories ,but to be sure we all still laugh about it sometimes :Rofl
or even better , the one where the same trainwreck buddy was on the back of the 4 wheeler in the mud ruts in the pines in Arkansas and the climbing stand he was sitting on scissored off the tips of his 2 longest fingers and then the emergency room doc in the tiny town out there ,who "fixed" it and sent him home to his real doc that said this about that ,,,,,did a veterinarian do this work on your fingers ?:yikes:Rofl
to say we done some stupid stuff out in the wild that aint on film would be an understatement for sure
Certainly sounds tough. I KABOOM'ed one with the Tacoma this morning on the way to work.
Dang, hate that DSJ. Cause much damage?
Knocked the driving light out of the bumper. Otherwise it looks as good a new minus a few tufts of deer hair.
