Thread: Age brings change

There was a time I never passed on a legal buck or doe when legal . Now I tend to watch them and nature and be completely satisficed unless they are carrying a good set of horns . Dentures make them harder to eat and Arthritis makes them harder to chase . These were out of a friends shooting property . I mainly hunt timber land cut over and power lines when possible .

Saw 8 bucks yesterday and 11 does , was alone and the one I wanted would not cooperate, should have taken one in particular that needs to be gone , but thought why possibly scare the big one and work so hard all alone in the dark , at 65 and owning your own place it becomes lots less important to whack one for sure
