I haven’t looked for any this year but we did see our first three hard horned bucks this week. Right now the feeder is covered up as it is 29 degrees out this morning.

our entire woods at the place out west have trails like that thru out the place , they are really beating it up going back and forth to the 4 different feeders , we have a big ole zero acorn crop and the deer are super hungry

I looked at my little food plot yesterday. Nothing left but stems and a few leaves. Shaping up to be a hard winter on them.

We haven't had much rain here either. This early cold snap and the lack of acorns and such has made them hit that pack hard already. It has been eaten down to the stems. Hopefully there is some time to trow out some more seed in other places for them.

We had a lot of rain in the spring and summer in the lower big bend area of florida.. The hurricane went south of us by 200 plus miles so we did not get the wind and rain. The wetlands and swamps were over flowing up until 2 weeks ago.. Now water is at a good level for hunting. Acorns have been dropping for over a month. Sitting in ladder on oak tree now, acorns still on tree.. Waiting on hogs to show up, Just deer so far..
