    Default hard horn 8 /31

My buddy went west to play dove hunter about 10 miles from our place in the country , set out in his deer blind to hog hunt the last day of august . early am , 2 bucks walk out , one in velvet , one not ....
both bucks are friends most of the year ....this day was about chasing each other and all postured up that morning with them ears back and heads lowered....
velvet buck looked to be dominant in the video he sent , but the hard horn had a really poor attitude about the stand down order .....
took a few screen shots for the visual .....

They are showing up hard horned here in Ohio too. It won’t be long till we can start chasing them with stick and string.

used to hunt that ranch for many years , most of the time when I would hunt it , it would be a one day hunt , many times the first day I would whack one about twice the size of those 2 , it is loaded with deer and big bucks are fairly common early in the year .
wife told me over and over and again I don't understand why you pay that kind of money to hunt one day .....

seen a few bushes that been terrorized this weekend , not real hard ,but busted branches where they wasn't last week .
the 4 larger bucks on our place are posturing alot and one appears to have his velvet torn a bit on the main beam .
none of the videos showed any rubbed off yet though .
