    Thanks guys. I got to try out a Hawke rangefinder, $139. Non-illuminated readings. Seemed easy to use and accurate enough. Not sure how well it will work in lowlight situations. The illuminated model costs another $100.

    If it costs twice as much as normal, that's kinda a scam imo. Decent budget choice, heard Hawke is pretty okay

    Yeah, Hawke makes pretty good scopes for crossbows too. Seem to have very clear glass.
