Had some of those at work. They would have them buy the exit at quiting time. The parents would get pretty hostile as folks walked by. One of the guys was wearing a rain jacket. Bout the time he got passed the parents the wind blew the hood up onto his head. He screamed like a girl and took off running. I almost hirt myself laughing about it

Yep, the goslings are everywhere here too. All of the robins nests are full of babies too.

Blue jays have been vandalizing the robin nests here. Jays are my least favorite bird. I will be staying at my son's for a few days. Will watch for fawns there and report.

Boss had a pic of a small fawn that was under the porch of his daughters house, and a short video of the doe and fawn when she came back for the fawn. The doe appeared to be on the small side also.

Every fall Blue jays really hammer my apple trees right before the apples are ready...Come Sept a lot of mornings it's not uncommon to smell coffee and fresh gun powder in my kitchen.

My brother sent me a pic of a doe and fawn, middle of day, from his trail camera. Fawn has the body size of his Jack Russel terrier but longer legs.

That’s how I used to hunt squirrels as a kid.
I would listen for the blue jays in the woods, pick off the squirrels they were harassing.

this is how we keep the flea infested things away from our yard , between the destruction of the bird feeders and the fleas they toss down to our dogs , they are not welcome here .....and having a jay in the tree "running" em like a dog helps distract them for the folks with the pellet guns under them trees ....
