we hammer them here and cook them and refer to them as rib eye in the sky .
they will try to kill a dog if the are wounded and it tries to retrieve it .
this is a major flyway area and they come in by the thousands every year .
some that are not in the know think they are geese
and sometimes they are so HIGH they are dots in the sky as the circle their way along .
I quit waterfowling years ago ,but it is quite popular west of ft. worth and productive as well .
