Mmmm bacon and chops. I am thankful we don’t have any here on our place. They are in the next county over from us so I suppose it’s only a matter of time.

we say this about that , there are 2 kinds of property in Texas , that ,that has hogs on it and that ,that is about to have hogs on it
they seem to have little care about the types of terrain and water supply or anything else when it comes to suitable habitat for them .

if you live trap them and take them about 25 miles to a dog food plant they buy them on the hoof by the lb .
but it sure it alot of work trapping and transporting them , we dont trap them at our place often , but we do have traps that sometimes get set .

never say never , they really travel and often show up in spots one would think they would never show up at .
they are really a nuisance and really difficult to control once they get a foot hold in an area .
smarter than most other species in the woods and drop 2 litters a year starting at an early age .
pretty good entertainment though , run fast and don't hold still much and make lots of big noises at times

Used to hunt them some down in the Mobile river delta. Momma pig very aggressive. Make a lot of racket popping them jaws as well. Will flat unzip a dog with those tusk if it gets in the wrong place giving that pig a chance
