she walked onto the stage at exactly 10 ten deer on stage , all the deer looked up at her and flew out of the performance like someone set their rear ends on fire in 5 or 6 different directions !
been wondering why all the deer been ridiculous jumpy lately , for the last few weeks the videos and the actual in person observations have them about as jittery as I have ever seen , my bud who hunts with me often in there , has mentioned how the slightest thing has them out in a flash .
we have discussed it and have noted lots of coyotes this year and it is hunting season and so on and so forth, have only seen one bobcat on camera in over a year . am now wondering if there might be another close by as she paid particular close attention to one lone oak and ran her nose up and down it with her tail just a flickering.
a friend mentioned what a beautiful mount it would make , I told him how soft the fur and skin is and imagine what it does to one when you run an 06 thru it , close to cut it in half it did .....
will spare you that image for sure , pretty darn graphic ,hit one with a 308 many years ago and it was really large tom about 2 times plus her size and almost had to bring him back with one end in one hand and one in the other
they do not take lead well ,that is for sure
pretty sure my lucky crappie.com ballcap and tshirt got the job done once again btw !

deceptive creatures for sure and can take something twice their size down in a blink .
the southern subspecies is well known to be the baddest of the bobcat family and are known to shred hounds when cornered .
ran into a few in my travels with really bad attitudes , that one seemed to be about average size to me ....
seen several about twice that size in the past and they look pretty intimidating to me in the 40 lb and up range .
one thing for sure positive , the deer were scared of her REALLY bigtime ....

When I first moved into my own place after highschool I had a Mobile home in the woods. Woke up to a crash underneath one night something running into the tie down straps making them vibrate like guitar strings. I went out to investigate. As I was looking around out of the oak tree came a bobcat. Looked a big as a full grown lab. I don't know what put that critter up that tree. But it surely had to be some kind of mean. That cat didn't give a rip if I was standing there or not. Looked at me turned and walked into the woods.

Had a bobcat at 15 yards yesterday morning while sitting in my duck blind down at the pond.
